Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers are yet to confirm any actor’s name with the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele but hot favourite to take the male lead, Ian Somerhalder may have already had his fate sealed.

After the Vampire Diaries star teased fans that he’d have a ‘lot of fun’ filming the Fifty Shades of Grey movie he’s now been hit with reports that he’s parted ways with his long-term love, Nina Dobrev. Both stars were seen separately at SXSW festival, with Nina spending time with her friend, actress Julianne Hough and Ian decided to hang out with his own pals.

Reports from the US suggest that Ian Somerhalder’s rumoured role in the hotly anticipated movie have called time on his romance. Celebrity news site, CDL report that ‘the reality of what the role entails has cost him his relationship.’
