The Glee star plans to keep her private life private, and not end up like Lindsey Lohan

Dianna Agron plans to be recognised for her talents, not her messy personal life, she has said, as she doesn't want to end up like Lindsey Lohan.

'It's really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan. She's an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life,' the 25-year-old Glee star told US Cosmopolitan magazine.

'They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don't want that to happen to me.'

Argon is currently dating Captain America star Sebastian Stan, 27, after a after a messy break-up with her I Am Number Four co-star Alex Pettyfer.

'I'm the happiest that I've ever been. Ever,' she said.

'High school, middle school - I've loved every part of getting older and growing, but I definitely think that this is the most I've ever felt like myself and that I'm being treated like who I feel I am,'

'[In a relationship,] I look for honesty, integrity and the ability to be yourself. In a relationship, it's very clear when people are holding back and insecure, and that's dangerous to get involved with.

'Jealousy is another thing I've dealt with in people. Now, the moment I see it, I run. I run fast. It'll always be bad.'
