David Beckham and Taylor Swift are both slated to appear in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming spy caper, reports The Mirror.

The retired footballer, who's been devoting his free time to his family (resulting in an adorable selection of snaps with Becks and Harper and Becks and the boys for us to ogle), is turning up on the big screen, reveals The Mirror.

Singing sensation Taylor Swift has also bagged herself a part in the film, based on Mark Millar's comic books, which stars bold-faced names like Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine and is being described as a '21st century 007.'

While Becks is reported to have a cameo role in the film, Taylor's character gets kidnapped by Samuel L. Jackson's villain and will even require martial arts training for the part.

Adele and Elton John have also reportedly been offered cameo roles in the flick.
