David Beckham could have a future in acting. He seems to have a knack for comedy – and we’d certainly pay money to see him heat up the big screen.

Of course, we’re basing all this on two very short clips from his upcoming Only Fools And Horses cameo
The Radio Times that was a bit nervous about making his acting debut. ‘The day of filming started off with a slightly sleepless night, going over my script,’ he said. ‘The thought of being on set with Nicholas and David was obviously very nerve-racking.’

But in the clip, it’s clear that Becks has a talent for comedic timing – and he’s clearly happy to poke fun at himself.

To see more of Becks in action, tune into the telethon Friday at 7pm.
