The sorry Scream star is seeking treatment for 'alcohol issues,' and has entered a private LA clinic
After months of erratic behaviour, sorry Scream star David Arquette has checked into a rehab clinic in Los Angeles, seeking treatment for 'alcohol issues,' according to reports.

It’s thought friends of the star have become increasingly concerned about his heavy drinking since his split from wife of 10 years, Courteney Cox, in October last year.
In the months following the separation, David shocked fans by admitting to an affair in a bizarre drunken rant on Howard Stern's US radio show, before revealing he was close to a nervous breakdown, and had hit the bottle since the split.
'Everybody is worried and concerned about me,' he said in an interview before Christmas. 'I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing.'
Now the star has reportedly checked into a private LA rehab clinic, seeking treatment for 'alcohol issues'.
It’s also thought the move could be a last ditch attempt to save his marriage, and prove he is willing to do whatever it takes to win Courteney back.
‘He's trying to win Courteney back, and he turned back to drinking again out of frustration,’ a spokesman for the star reportedly told a US website.
‘He is doing this to show her he means it and will do anything for her and (their daughter) Coco. He wants his family life back. It's been so hard on him.’
And Courteney has been quick to give David her backing, publicly declaring her support for the star.
'I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life,' she said in a statement. 'I love and support him.'
So far, the pair - who met on the set of horror flick Scream - have blasted rumours of a divorce, insisting they are undergoing a period of ‘trial separation’.
‘I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,' Courteney told TV Week back in November.
‘This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage… Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.’
