Danny Dyer's Tweet About Dani Dyer Will Have You Calling Your Dad

'I know she's doing well...holding her own and all that bollocks...'

We’re not going to lie - when we heard Dani Dyer was going to be on Love Island this year, we were a little confused. She’s proven us all wrong though as she and pen salesman Jack have quickly become fan favourites and have even gone as far as to become Love Island 2018’s first official couple. Although Dani may be all loved up with Jack at the moment, there’s another man who misses her dearly back at home - her father, Danny Dyer.

The actor, best known for playing tough guy Mick Carter in EastEnders, has clearly been watching his daughter on the reality TV show. He tweeted out last night, ‘I know she’s doing well….holding her own and all that bollocks…’

Danny continued, ‘It’s gotta be declared...I proper miss my baby girl now…’

Last night’s episode was a big one for Dani, as during an intimate moment Jack finally asked Dani to be his girlfriend - and she said yes. They’ve been named the favourites to win the show, however a spanner could be thrown in the works soon since Jack’s ex-girlfriend Keeley Maguire is rumoured to arrive on the island to shake things up a bit.

Danny also threw in a number of hashtags into his Tweet that warmed our hearts, including #firstborn, #Dani, #loveisland. Given that Love Island trends on Twitter practically every night, it’s so sweet to see that he’s thrown himself fully into full social media promo mode for his little girl.

Other Love Island and Danny Dyer fans quickly caught wind of the tweet, which clearly struck a chord.

Others also referenced his EastEnders character and tough guy persona, which could spell trouble for Jack if he messes Dani about on the island.

To be honest, Jack could be meeting Danny sooner than he thinks. On a romantic beach date with Dani, the pair talked about how they wanted to introduce to other to their parents.

Jack said, 'I want something to happen. Take you home, meet all my family and that.'

'Yeah, you can meet my family and all,' Dani responded.

Jack immediately blanched and swore, before asking, 'Do you think they'd like me though?'

'Yeah, I think they'd like you. Just carry on being you and lovely,' she told him.

Well, fingers crossed for Jack then. We're just desperate to see how he and Dani handle his ex if she steps into the villa...
