Courteney Cox reveals why she stopped getting facial fillers
And how it has helped her self-esteem
And how it has helped her self-esteem

Courteney Cox has briefly spoken about her decision to dip her toe in the pool of plastic surgery, but she has recently decided that she is ditching the facial fillers completely.
During an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls last year, Courteney said: ‘Getting older, I don’t think that’s the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons. I think I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that.
'It’s something you can’t keep up with. Sometimes you find yourself trying, and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go, “Oh god, I look horrible.” I have done things that I regret, and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away.'
But the 53 year-old Friends star recently admitted that she is saying goodbye to the needle for good.
Talking to New Beauty, Courteney said: 'I feel better because I look like myself. I think that I now look more like the person that I was. I hope I do. Things are going to change.

'Everything’s going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake.'
She went on to say that her decision to have her fillers dissolved came after feeling 'layered and layered and layered' with procedures, to the point where she didn't recognise herself.
But after avoiding top-ups for six months, Courteney said: 'You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do.
'Those aren’t wrinkles—they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend.'
