Reports suggest the star has signed to her Black Eyed Peas pals label to launch her career in the US
Songstress Cheryl Cole has reportedly signed a deal with Black Eyed Peas pal Will.i.am to launch her career in the US.
Since she filed for divorce just last month, rumours have been flying that Ms Cole has been planning to make a move stateside.
X Factor friend Simon Cowell has reportedly encouraged Cheryl to take up place on the judging panel on the US version of the show.
And now it seems Cheryl may have enlisted the help of her Black Eyed Peas BFF to complete the package, signing a deal with his very own record label.
‘Cheryl’s dope, I like collaborating with her,‘ Will.i.am told the Big Issue.
‘We’ve talked about working on her next album, plus we signed her to the label in America.
‘We’re figuring out how we go about it in the States. It has to be something really incredible done in a different way.’
And it seems Cheryl’s even planning a total image overhaul to complete her transformation.
Reports suggest the star is after a more ‘sophisticated’ style, and wants to move away from her WAG past once and for all, in time for the release of her brand new single.
‘By the time it’s out, her style will need updating. Some of the best stylists have been drafted in with no expense spared,‘ one insider told the Sun.
‘The favourite look so far is that of an old Hollywood film star look – an edgy Rita Hayworth or Ava Gardner.’
