Sacha Baron Cohen dresses up as kinky guardsman as Brüno comes to town
Sacha Baron Cohen’s Brüno just gets wackier and wackier (and camper and camper) – and the London premiere of his eponymous movie was the most outrageous fashion parade to date. Literally.
We thougt the Paris premiere's micro-lederhosen would take some beating, but the gay Austrian reporter managed to out-camp himself by marching down the red carpet in tight leather hotpants, knee-high black boots and a giant bearskin hat –in imitation of a Queen’s guardsman.
And he was joined by a whole team of look-a-likes, making a procession into Leicester Square to the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive.
But girlfriend Isla Fisher didn’t seem at all embarrassed and, in fact, looked on proudly.
The Australian actress was, as usual, divine in a strapless grey minidress, which she teamed with a statement Mawi necklace and grey ankle-tie heels.
Other stars to grace the red carpet included Jo Wood, Rachel Stevens and Peaches Geldof.
