The Twilight screenwriter has finally opened up on the script, revealing they scenes will be just as dramatic as they are in the book.
Breaking Dawn screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has opened up on the film’s final scripts, revealing the gory birth scenes will be just as dramatic as they are in the book.
Opening up on the tricky writing process, Melissa says she’s been holed up with director Bill Condon battling through final rewrites of the two important scripts.
And the good news? The book’s most dramatic scenes are set to be better than ever.
‘We’re working on it,’ Melissa told E! online of Bella’s dramatic vampire birth scene ‘And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.’
But luckily, it seems the scenes won’t be too gory.
‘I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,’ she said
‘It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going on. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.’
And on the timescale for the final rewrites?
‘It better damn well be before the beginning of November,’ she joked, ‘because that’s when we start shooting.’
