The Gossip Girl has revealed it's a 'dream come true' to front the famous fashion brand’s Mademoiselle handbag collection
It’s official. After months of rumours, Gossip Girl Blake Lively has been confirmed as the new face of Chanel, and will front campaigns for the famous fashion house’s new range of Mademoiselle handbags.

No stranger to the French fashion house,Blake has become a firm fixture at its catwalk shows and events, travelling to Paris to hit the front row at its couture collection in July and cosying up to Karl Lagerfeld at the label's New York store reopening in September.
And now lucky Lively has bagged a place on the on the team, and is set to star in a brand new campaign.
‘She's a kind of American dream girl,’ creative director Karl Lagerfeld told WWD. ‘I think she will become a great actress.’
And Blake simply couldn’t be happier about her new role.
‘A dream come true is an understatement,’ she gushed. ‘I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around.’
And as a massive fan of the iconic brand (she even rocked a stunning Chanel jumpsuit on the Marie Claire October 2010 cover) it’s a match made in fashion heaven.
‘I will always feel it's more than just a purse,’ Blake said of carrying the dreamy Mademoiselle bag.
‘It's a quilted case full of lipstick, love letters and the dreams and possibilities that I have always felt every time I see that beautiful 'CC'.
