Beyonce will perform during the 2013 Super Bowl and you can expect one hell of a show
Beyonce Knowles has confirmed that she’ll perform the halftime show during next year’s Super Bowl.
The Single Ladies singer announced the news herself with a post on her official website along with a pic of herself with the date of the sporting event painted on her face.
Beyonce will follow in the footsteps of Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Prince and Paul McCartney when she takes to the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.
Last year, Madonna performed the halftime show with special guests including MIA, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj and LMFAO.
So who can we expect to join Beyonce at the prestigious American football event? We’re guessing that a Jay-Z and Destiny’s Child collaboration wouldn’t be a long shot.
The Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 112.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year’s show.
