Beyoncé and Cheryl Cole have shown their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by painting their nails pink.

The singers are rallying fans to support Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October by posting pics of their pink pinkies to their Instagram accounts and getting followers into the philanthropic - and stylish - spirit.

Beyoncé kicked things off with an Instagram picture which showed off a hot pink manicure - accessorised with plenty of blinging rings, dazzling metallic bead bracelets and an LV-monogrammed bag as a backdrop. The pic showed Bey painting her pinky a sparkly, metallic pink hue.

'Breast Cancer awareness month starts today paint your pinky pink! #spotthepinkie #pinkiepink #nailsinclondon,' the superstar urged her fans.

After Beyoncé's exact shade of sugary pink sparkle? Then grab a bottle of Nails Inc's Paint Your Pinkie Pink , designed in collaboration with Matthew Williamson and Poppy Delevingne (£1 from every bottle sold will be donated to Breast Cancer Campaign).

Cheryl Cole also got in on the rallying cry, posting a pic of her and BFF Kimberley Walsh's pinkies - both painted a hot pink shade - to her LadyCCole Instagram account, captioned: 'Me and @kimberleywalshofficial painting our pinky's [sic] pink for breast cancer awareness month.'

So think pink - and think pinkies!
