Anna Friel has been talking candidly about her plans to have children with beau Rhys Ifans and how, at the age of 36, she's thinking of freezing her eggs to prolong her fertility.

The actress already has a child, seven-year-old Gracie with ex-boyfriend David Thewlis, but wants another baby with her current beau, once he's ready.

She told Easy Living that Rhys, 45, is not yet ready to be a father.

She said: 'I do want another child, but it's not something I want to rush into at his point in my life with Rhys.

'I think he would like his own child, but I'm not sure we're ready yet. I'm 36. All my friends around me are freezing their eggs!'

The Limitless actress also chatted about the pressures women face these days trying to juggle a career and be a good mother.

'It's so much harder to be a woman these days. We've got to do everything - keep working and cope with travelling, and still be a mother,' she said.

Anna, who stars opposite Steve Coogan in the forthcoming film about porn baron Paul Raymond, The Look Of Love, went on to talk about her relationship with Rhys, explaining why they try to keep out of the limelight as much as possible.

She said: 'Of course we go out together - but you don't really see us pictured together. We try not to make anything public because it can make relationships harder. He's shy when it comes to that kind of thing.'

The gorgeous star also let us in on her beauty secrets. Notepads at the ready? She recommends drinking a smoothie made up of juiced raw vegetables and berries every day, and having a procedure called a Vampire Facial, where blood cells are injected into the face.
