Genius.
Have you heard of the Meghan Markle effect? Every time that the Duchess of Sussex wears a particular fashion brand or shows off her exquisite taste in jewellery, their websites crash and the items sell out in absolutely no time.
She is one of the most famous women on the planet, and everyone wants to emulate her style, and when it comes to her make-up bag it’s no different.
We know that this is why she never wears red lipstick, and we’ve even created a guide to Meghan Markle’s favourite beauty products so that you can copy some of her signature looks. You’re welcome.
So when we found out that she has a very smart way of hiding tired eyes, we needed to share it.
Firstly, the Duchess always has a gorgeous glow. Prince Harry and Meghan are expecting their first child in Spring and she is rumoured to be around five months pregnant.
In the early months she explained that it felt ‘like jet lag’, and despite the fact she was also on a pretty hectic royal tour she still looked as beautiful and fresh-faced as ever.
So is it down to this one trick?
According to celebrity make-up artist Francesca Abrahamovitch, the secret is down to her eyeliner.
She told FEMAIL: ‘Meghan appears to be wearing a nude eyeliner in her lower waterline. I love this look and use it a lot on my clients, especially when they have super-early starts.’
That’s right – she’s swapped her former favourite chocolate brown eyeliner for a nude tone.
