Alexa Chung has landed an exciting new role with beauty brand Eyeko, which will see her launch her very own capsule collection this November.
The star – a global fashion icon, model, broadcaster and writer in her own right – announced the news today, sharing a polaroid image of her own peeper with a perfect stroke of winged eyeliner.
She tells us: 'I’m really excited to be working with Eyeko. It is probably no secret I’m a big fan of the cat-eye eyeliner flick and after trying many different brands Eyeko definitely is the best in creating my favourite 60’s look. I love that I won’t be just a face of the brand, but that I’ll also get to work with Max and Nina on the whole creative process.'
Alexa will be working closely with the British brand to develop new products and will launch her own range of make-up, which will hit Selfridges later this year.
Co-founder and CEO of Eyeko Max Leykind said: 'I’m not interested in paid-for celebrity endorsements or finding a face to front campaigns following the route of traditional brands and neither are todays discerning shoppers. Alexa is equally as obsessed as we are with making Eyeko the definitive eye make-up brand.'
Eyeko, the brand Marie Claire worked with for our August issue to offer you a fabulous liquid eyeliner as a covermount, also confirmed that they've been fans of Alexa's look for a long time.

Alexa adds: 'Liquid liner is my saviour. Other people like other things to feel like they look normal, but for me, I’m pretty much naked without my eyeliner on. It’s my comfort blanket.'
Our beauty bags are going to look SO cool come November.
