Thank you for using the career finder to see what kind of career could be waiting for you in the British Army.
You love living life to the full. Your huge sense of adventure, passion for travel and new cultures means you want more from a career than a desk job can give you. The British Army offers plenty of opportunities to see the world, embrace new experiences and be challenged.
Roles such as Intelligence Linguist, Engineer Logistics Specialist, Logistic Troop Officer or Ammunition Technician, all of which require an ability to learn on your feet, a confident character and a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone will fulfill your desire to explore the world and live an interesting life.
If you’re eager to escape the office, then the British Army could be just what you’re looking for. You’ll receive ongoing career development and even get to try things like scuba diving and skiing as part of adventurous training. But travel and new challenges aren’t the only perks that go with Army life. Others include competitive pay rates – men and women are on the same pay scale and are paid according to their rank – maternity packages, a pension and 38 days annual holiday. There’s also the opportunity to enjoy subsidised learning – from GCSEs to degrees, languages to law. You could even join as a Reservist and get paid to train in your spare time.
