What: Defected's 15th anniversaryWhere: Booom! club When: 29 July
Defected first came to Ibiza in 2001, hosting nights at Pacha with Ministry of Sound. This year is their 15th anniversay year - and their theme for the whole Defected In The House Ibiza season. The special date is July 29. You'll be able to celebrate alongside MK, Pleasurekraft, Secondcity and Sam Divine.
What: Blue Marlin turns 10 Where: Blue Marlin, Cala Jondal Beach When: 16 August
Blue Marlin is the jet set hideout of Ibiza. Think international crowds arriving on yachts (yes, Leonardo DiCaprio, we are talking about you), dedicated service from the best looking staff on the island and upbeat tunes. They tell us: 'In ten years Blue Marlin Ibiza has become more than a beach club, it¹s now a lifestyle concept, a way of life for the glamorous and discerning. And after opening in Dubai next stop is Miami and Milan.' You heard it here, people. Make sure August 16 is firmly in your diary for their highly-anticipated anniversary event.
What: Cream's 20th birthday Where: Amnesia, Ibiza When: 31 July
Cream celebrates 20 years on the White Isle with a summer full of exclusive performances. They'll be 16 parties at Amnesia throughout the summer, ending on September 25, with the big birthday bash July 31. Look out for Calvin Harris, Cream legend Paul van Dyk, plus Paul Oakenfold.
And it doesn't end with Cream, Cocoon is also celebrating at Amnesia this summer. For 2014 they are cranking up the party for their sweet 15th. It's very much about the crowd participation (finally, it's all about us!), with huge visuals, rotating screens and revolving DJs. This is one party you don't want to miss.
What: Mambo's 20th anniversary Where: Café Mambo, San Antonio
Sunsets, free parties and regular guest appearances from the biggest names (hello, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Fatboy Slim) means when we think of Ibiza we always think of Mambo. They're celebrating their 20th anniversary this year with a global tour coming to a city near you, events throughout the season and an album launch. Low-key, then.
Since 1994 Café Mambo has been hailed as the place to party on the sunset strip in San Antonio. Owner Javier Anadon says: ‘We can hardly believe it was twenty years ago when we first opened our doors. What once started as a small sunset bar has grown to be a staple in the electronic music world.' We bow down.
What: Space's 25th birthdayWhere: Space, Playa D'en BossaWhen: 13 July
Space, only the best club in the world, is celebrating the mother of all birthdays with a huge 25 candles this summer. Expect the party to end all parties. In typical Space style they have bought in the big dogs; look out for the exclusive set from Eric Morillo plus 40 other DJs, including Annie Mac and Fatboy Slim. We've been told the car park will be open too, which they usually only do for the opening and closing parties. The key date for your diary is July 13. Don't say we never tell you anything!
And you don't have to be in Ibiza to join in the celebrations; this bad boy is going global. As well as Space Ibiza there will be celebrations in 25 other cities, from Barbados to Moscow. One per year of history of the Playa D'en Bossa club, natch. Sharing the love, we like your style, Space.
What: KM5 Where: On the KM5 road to San Jose When: 24 July
This is our special place in Ibiza, whether we are chilling under the stars, sipping on cocktails at one of the five bars, snacking on delicious sushi or dancing the night away in the tiny club, we always make time for KM5. Tucked away on the KM5 road to San Jose, with a super friendly crowd, mark our words this will be your new favourite spot. Their big night this season is July 24. Expect a night full of partying with live performnces galore. We. Cant. Wait.
