Yes, Christmas is coming (nothing wrong with getting ready a little early this year, especially when it comes to getting your hands on the perfect beauty advent calendars), but before that we've got Halloween to celebrate.

If you've left it a little late to prepare something brilliant, there are so many Halloween costume ideas out there that will ensure you look spookily dazzling on October 31st - and don't forget to take a look at these Halloween makeup ideas for a little inspiration, too.

However, if you're planning to spend the night indoors, running a bath and enjoying one of the excellent bath bombs from the Lush Halloween collection, then you'll also want to make sure that you've got some ghoul-orious scents going on to really help you relax.

It's time to ditch your regular candles in favour of Yankee Candle's special Halloween range. Each product is made with their premium-grand paraffin wax, with two fragrances on offer this year.

There's a violet 'Haunted Hayride' candle, an aromatic scent with woody notes, as well as warming spice notes of black pepper and nutmeg. There are also hints of citrus orange and fir needles, making it perfect for autumn.

Then there's 'Trick or Treat', a bright orange pumpkin-esque colour, promising the smell of a crisp autumn night filled with the sweet anticipation of sugary treats. It boasts nutmeg, ginger and caramel top notes, with a hint of pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and pine needle and the subtle addition of sugar, vanilla, orange and fir balsam.

There are three editions of each candle, with the Large Jar Candle costing £23.99, the scented tea lights which will set you back £6.99 and the single votive candles coming in at just £1.99.

Both candles sound like the perfect addition to any home this season, particularly if you're having a relaxing bath or snuggled on the sofa watching the usual Harry Potter re-runs.

Lovely.
