    Peggy mixed things up and delivered one heck of an amazing – and modern – performance to clinch the gold in ’68.  
    5. Shizuka Arakawa – 2006 Olympics
    This gold medal-winning routine was the pinnacle of Shizuka’s career, and she retired professionally after this incredible performance. Talk about a last hurrah.
