Adidas Stan Smiths, £67 available on

If you’re not already channeling the ‘normcore’ trend then start now with these bad boys. Think boring basics like straight leg denim, white crew neck tees and, of course, the Stan Smiths. Add a leather rucksack and you’ll be rocking the American-tourist-in-London-slash-normcore effect perfectly.

    Helen Moore scarf, £68

When we spotted this new brand in the fashion cupboard, there were squeals. Yes, it’s not the weather right now for a faux fur stole, but come October, with its chilly wind, you’ll be wearing this day in, day out. Top marks for the use of faux fur in the fun multi coloured shades. We heart.

Moschino French Fries Sling Bag, £430

Jeremy Scott was feeling Maccy Ds at his AW14 Moschino show. If you haven’t seen it yet, the whole show – and this ‘Fries Bag’ – can’t fail to bring a smile to your face. Just because we are on our bikini diet, and abstaining from fries, doesn’t mean we can’t wear them.

    Essential jacket, £245, available now

Essential is our new favourite find. The Antwerp-based brand is stocked in Harvey Nichols, ASOS and Anthropologie and is our go-to for something with a little bit extra. Available now, wear this jacket on holiday, from beach to bar, or hanging out at the weekend with white denim cut-offs.

    Hobbs, £149, in store now

Pastel? Tick. Lace? Tick. Boxy? Tick. Hobbs you are spoiling us with this beaut of a top. It has three trends in one and is super-wearable. Wear with a nude tank underneath (aim for one that echoes the neckline, so it’s seamless), or if you are feeling brave, team with a black triangle bra and sunkissed skin. We’ll be wearing with ripped denim to toughen up the girliness.
