This Pixar video has finally confirmed a link between all its animation films

And it is completely blowing our minds.

And it is completely blowing our minds.

The Internet has been awash with Pixar fan theories for as long as we can remember. From Toy Story and Monster’s Inc to Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, people are determined to prove that the entire Pixar universe is connected in some way.

Most of the theories revolve around Andy’s mum from Toy Story, with fans convinced that her ‘true identity’ links her to another Pixar film, the most common theories suggesting that she is either Emily, Jessie’s previous owner, or a grown-up Boo from Monster’s Inc. Look it up – it will make you question everything you thought you knew.

Disney

After years of speculation, Disney has finally shed some light on our Pixar theories, releasing a video this week entitled, Pixar Hidden Easter Eggs & Secrets, proving once and for all that every Pixar film is connected. We knew it.

The video is a compilation of Pixar clips, showing the subtle references to other Pixar animations in each film and highlighting how they are all connected. Some of the references are easy to spot but others are so subtle that you definitely won’t have picked up on them.

Originally uploaded to the official Toy Story Facebook page, the video has since gone viral, showing links between Brave, Inside Out, Cars, Toy Story, Up, Ratatouille, WALL-E, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, The Good Dinosaur, A Bug’s Life and Monsters, Inc.

Did you spot that Joy, the main character in Inside Out is also in Finding Nemo? Did you recognise that the wood carving in Brave is of Sulley from Monsters, Inc.? Did you see Toy Story 3’s Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear in Up? And did you notice that in Monsters, Inc. Boo has a toy of Nemo and Jessie in her bedroom?

We didn’t either, and it has blown our minds.

There’s still no word on who Andy’s mum is, but maybe Toy Story 4 will shed some light on it.
