It was announced last week that Khloe Kardashian had given birth to her first baby with Tristan Thompson, welcoming a baby girl.

Despite giving birth last week however, the 33-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star kept the baby name under wraps until today, announcing to the world via social media that she has called her newborn, ‘True’.

‘Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are so overwhelmed with LOVE’, Khloé captioned a photo of some pink baby presents and balloons. ‘Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!’

The internet however wasn’t impressed with the name choice, with some taking issue with the name ‘True’ and others taking issue with the fact that she had given her baby Tristan’s surname - considering the cheating allegations.

While welcoming a baby is a happy life milestone, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have found themselves at the centre of some nasty ‘cheating’ speculation this week, with video footage appearing to show the NBA player getting pretty close to a number of different women.

‘Did Khloe Kardashian really just name her child True Thompson?’ posted one Twitter user @gabbieclough. ‘Idk if I’m more disappointed in the first or last name.’

‘Khloe Kardashian has named her baby True Thompson. I prefer Karma tbh,’ tweeted Rosina Dosani.

Tristan as well the Kardashian family is said to have been present at the birth, which took place at a hospital outside Cleveland.
