But we're thrilled.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding date is fast-approaching, with the couple set to wed on May 19th at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

With under two weeks to go, there is plenty of wedding prep to complete before the big day, from final wedding dress fittings to last minute seating arrangement changes.

But it was announced last month that it wasn't just the happy couple who had a May 19th deadline to get their admin done, Madame Tussauds London was also knee-deep in preparations, announcing their plans to immortalise the former Suits actress in wax before the big day.

Today is that day, with Meghan Markle's waxwork officially being unveiled.

The news of a Meghan Markle waxwork was broken by town crier Anthony Appleton last month, who announced the tourist attraction’s latest addition outside the gates of Buckingham Palace.

‘Edward Fuller, general manager of Madame Tussauds London, is proud to announce the imminent arrival of her royal likeness Meghan Markle,’ Appleton announced. ‘The future princess, bride-to-be and queen of the courtroom will be safely delivered to the world-famous London attraction in early May, 2018.’

He continued: Meghan will take her place beside her future husband Prince Harry.’

Madame Tussauds London's general manager Edward Fuller later elaborated on the plans.

‘Excitement for the royal couple's wedding reaches across the globe so it will come as no surprise that we've been secretly working away on a Meghan Markle figure since news of the royal engagement broke,’ he explained. ‘It's clear that the public has already taken Meghan to their hearts.’

He continued: ‘One half of arguably the most famous couple in the world right now she's already made her own mark as a humanitarian and role model. We're excited to give guests the chance to meet her in the attraction later this year.’
