And it looks like she's going to ace it.

Meghan Markle has fitted seamlessly into the royal family from the moment she started dating Prince Harry, from bonding with the Queen’s corgis to getting an early invite to spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Windsors.

And now that the couple have tied the knot, Meghan is officially a royal, with the Queen giving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the titles, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as a wedding present.

With the title however comes a lot of responsibilities, with Meghan now tasked with royal tours and appearances on behalf of the royal family, changing lots of traits about herself from her handwriting to her fashion choices (no tights and no leggings!).

But it’s her increase in royal engagements that have been the most noticeable, with Meghan embarking on her biggest royal test to date just next week.

The Duchess is preparing to set off for her first string of solo engagements.

Yes, that’s right. While she would previously have been accompanied by a seasoned royal family member, whether her husband Prince Harry or sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Meghan is now officially ready to go solo.

Those princess lessons must be working!

Meghan will kick off her duties by hosting (yes, hosting) an event at Kensington Palace to celebrate the launch of the cookbook, Together, created by a group of women affected by the Grenfell Tower in an effort to bring their community together.

Then just days later she will be heading to Loughborough university for the Coach Core Awards, and then on her return Meghan will make a solo appearance at the Oceania exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

It looks like Meghan is becoming a dream Duchess!
