And it's lovely.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially welcomed Baby Sussex last week, announcing just days ago that they had named their baby boy Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor via their new Instagram page, SussexRoyal.

‘It has been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension,’ Prince Harry said on Monday of the birth. ‘I haven’t been in many births, this is definitely my first birth. I am so incredibly proud of my wife.’

The royal couple greeted press at Windsor Castle and showed the public a first glimpse of baby Archie. But it was this weekend that Baby Sussex made his Instagram debut.

Yes. Meghan broke her silence for the first time since baby Sussex’s birth posting a sweet Instagram on the new Sussex Royal account to commemorate US Mother’s Day.

‘Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered,’ read the post. ‘We honor and celebrate each and every one of you. Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe.’

Making the post personal, it continued: ‘This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex’, before offering the following quote from “Lands” by @nayyirah.waheed.

‘My mother was my first country; the first place I ever lived.'

Well that’s lovely. More baby posts please, Royals!

Happy Mother’s Day Meghan!
