FINALLY.

FINALLY.

After splitting in 2016, there have been rumours building that A-list couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have rekindled their relationship, something that the Roar singer has finally confirmed.

Katy and Orlando got the internet talking in January when they were spotted holidaying together in the Maldives, and then rumours got even louder last month, when they made their first public appearance together since the break up.

To say that it was an unexpected date choice however is an understatement.

While the pair jetted off to Rome, it wasn’t the ice cream or the Italian architecture that made it the destination of choice, instead it was a meeting with the Pope.

Yes, really.

‘Happy Saturday everyone, I’m here in Rome at the Vatican, to speak on meditation’, she announced in an Instagram Stories video, going on to explain that she was with [her] ‘darling Orlando’.

Naturally there was talk that a Katy-Orlando love had rekindled, but being notoriously private (paddle-boarding incidents aside), the couple had yet to comment on the situation.

That it, until now.

During the finale of American Idol last night, the 33-year-old singer announced that she was off the market as she joked about how much she loved the Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin.

‘I’ll give you all my roses’, Becca responded to the profession of Katy’s love, which Katy shot back with, ‘I’m not single but I still like you.’

And while she didn’t specify Orlando’s name, it would be be pretty surprising if it was someone else - especially considering the amount of serious dates they have been on lately.

Congratulations are definitely in order for Katy and Orlando!
