Luckily VB filmed it all...

David Beckham turned 43 this week, and in true Beckham fashion, the whole family was there to see in her birthday properly.

That's right, David got to spend the big day how he likes it best, with wife Victoria, and children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - with even 19-year-old Brooklyn flying in to surprise his dad during the festivities.

Victoria shared birthday posts throughout the day for her husband, from a video of Harper Seven reading out her birthday card to her dad, to a family photo of David, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

It was her final post that really went viral however, a video showing Brooklyn surprising an emotional David by turning up at a restaurant where the family were eating.

'What are you doing here?' David can be heard asking his son before the two engage in an emotional hug.

'The biggest surprise of the day,' Victoria captioned the video. 'Welcome home Brooklyn Beckham. Happy birthday David Beckham I love u so much x kisses'

'Best birthday surprise, my big boy coming home,' wrote David also uploading the video to his Instagram account, and raking in over 7 million likes.

This isn't the first time that Brooklyn has surprised a parent on their birthday - even in the last two weeks - flying back from Coachella early in April to spend Victoria's birthday with her.

As always, the Beckham family is giving us serious squad goals.
