Want the perfect winter coat and to tick one of this season's biggest trends in one go? No problem. Try this stylish coat, courtesy of River Island.

The coat already has quite a big Insta following, with bloggers like We Are Twinset, Style Devotee and How Do You Wear That having all worn it in the last couple of weeks alone.

And I can see why, it's got a classy check pattern that nails the British heritage trend, but has modern features like tie cuffs to keep it current. At £100 a pop, it's not too expensive for a winter coat either.
