Barely 48 hours old, the new royal baby is already one of the most talked about children in the world.
Arriving just after 11am on Monday morning, Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child made his world debut the same evening at 6pm, wearing hand-me-downs from his older siblings George and Charlotte.
The newborn is fifth in line to the throne, bumping his uncle Prince Harry down a place in the line of succession, while big sister Princess Charlotte has made royal history by retaining her place as fourth in the queue.
Although we're still waiting to find out the little prince's name, we have been made privy to some adorable details about his new bedroom at home in Kensington Palace.
Apparently the nursery features some of Beatrix Potter's much-loved characters, with lots of Peter Rabbit decorations as well as other characters like Jemima Puddle-Duck and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.
The Cambridges' family apartment underwent a complete refurbishment just before the birth of Princess Charlotte in 2015, but the Peter Rabbit theme is one they chose when Prince George was born.
The Duke and Duchess reportedly used luxury design company Dragons of Walton Street, Knightsbridge, to create their children's nursery – the same company who designed William and Harry's childhood nursery.
We're sure the little prince is settling in well to home life as part of the family of five.
