Are Prince William and Kate Middleton expecting their third child?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have ripped up the royal rule book on several occasions when it comes to parenting. Kate Middleton reportedly uses a ‘secret Mumsnet account’ for parenting advice, and Prince William is not afraid to show off his amazing dad dancing.

So anyone who simply cannot wait for the couple to welcome another little royal will be very pleased to hear that apparently it’s going to happen a lot sooner than we thought.

A friend of William and Kate has claimed that the couple are keen to have another baby as soon as possible in order to give their 3 year old son, George, and 2 year old daughter, Charlotte, another sibling to grow up with.

Kate, 34, is one of three and there are only two years between her and her sister Pippa Middleton, so it seems that she likes the idea of raising children that are quite close in age.

William has also spoken about his love of being a dad in the past, gushing that Princess Charlotte was ‘a little joy of heaven’. During an interview on the BBC last month, he admitted: ‘I’m concentrating very much on my role as a father.

‘I’m a new father and I take my duties and responsibilities to my family very seriously and I want to bring my children up as good people with the idea of service and duty to others as very important.

‘But if I can’t give my time to my children as well, I worry about their future.’

Considering that William and Kate are moving back into Kensington Palace later this year before Prince George starts school, it seems like the perfect time to start thinking about expanding their family with another adorable little royal. We’ll keep our fingers crossed…
