Jennifer Hudson confirms first performance since family murders
Jennifer Hudson has confirmed that she will perform at the Superbowl – her first public appearance since the tragic murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October 2008.
The Oscar-winning actress will perform the National Anthem at the huge US sports event in Florida on 1 February.
Hudson’s mother, Darnell, brother Jason and seven-year-old nephew, Julian, were killed late last year. Her estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, has been charged with all three murders.
Jennifer has not appeared in public since the tragic incident.
We wish you lots of luck, Jen.
