If you're a bit hooked on Ariana Grande's modern take on 60s beauty - like most of the internet – then you may be interested to learn that the world's most searched celebrity of 2015 has also just made her first foray into fragrance too and released her debut perfume, ARI.
Described by the woman herself as a ‘sweet yet sexy’ scent, we wanted to know more – and were granted exclusive access into Grande's beauty bag as well as a chat to Ariana herself to learn about all her beauty secrets.
Speaking about her inspiration for the scent, she revealed: ‘I love perfumes and smelling good', adding that she loved the whole creative process, but in particular picking all the subtle notes that go into making a fragrance memorable.
However, despite her busy schedule, Grande's daily skincare regime takes an altogether more holisitic approach. Her top tips? ‘Wash your face with cold water and drink lots of water,’ she advises. And as for surviving all the late nights and early mornings that come part and parcel with touring all over the world, Ariana survives by ‘staying hydrated, working out every day and getting plenty of sleep’.
Delving into Grande’s beauty bag though, the singer listed her must-have beauty products on tour as: ‘ARI by Ariana Grande, MAC Haute & Naughty mascara and Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner’, and told us she couldn’t live without Josie Maran Argan Oil for her hair. And in terms of doing her own make-up, you won't be surprised to learn that the queen of the 60s-inspired winged eyeliner rates her abilities on the eyeliner front more than contouring.
The Bang Bang hitmaker - who name checks her beauty icons as Old Hollywood stars Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn as well as the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna – also opened up about the key beauty products she relies on day-to-day: ‘Water, ARI by Ariana Grande, MAC Viva Glam lipstick, chapstick and sleep.'
