ghd has announced the launch of its SS13 trend report, and all-new brand home in central London
Backstage favourite Kenna was out last night to present the ghd trend report from the Spring/Summer 13 shows.
The event was in the brand’s all-new London home (they’re migrating south from their current HQ in Liverpool), a swanky white space designed as a ‘hang-out’ for stylists to visit and get to know the ubiquitous ghd products and tools. There’s even a library stocked with magazines and trend reports (plus sofas and coffee machines), for research purposes.
We caught up with ghd’s creative director, Kenna, to get his take on the season, and his predictions for the next one.
According to Kenna, texture’s big for SS13 (think tennis girl chic at David Koma), and this year will see the end of the ombre craze. We hear it’s back to the ’90s for some simple strands and colour blocking.
