And we don’t know how to feel.

Donald Trump’s relationship with his family has long been a talking point, with the president known to have a soft spot for his oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Donald and Ivanka’s relationship caused controversy when the 36-year-old former TV personality and socialite was made Assistant to the President - a highly-coveted position - and given a West Wing office, classified information clearance and a government-issued phone,

Coupled with the fact that he once said he would probably be dating Ivanka if she wasn’t his daughter, people tend to find their father-daughter relationship a little odd.

This week it got even more uncomfortable.

Before Ivanka became a White House Advisor, she was trying to pursue a career in modelling, something that Emily Jane Fox has delved into in her new book about the family, Born Trump.

According to Fox, Donald Trump had some suggestions for how Ivanka could successfully venture into the world of modelling, and it’s enough to make anyone uncomfortable.

In Born Trump, Fox details that Donald Trump encouraged his daughter to get breast implants, believing this was the way forward.

Yes, really.

‘Donald wanted it for her, bad, to the point where he suggested to friends that breast implants might help her along,’ Fox wrote in the book, going on to explain how Donald’s sister Maryanne Trump Barry had shut it down, asking a friend of the now president to dissuade him.

‘When his friend confronted him about it, he denied that [Ivanka] was getting implants,’ Fox continued, going on to explain that ‘at the end of the call, [Donald Trump] asked, “Why not, though?”’

Donald Trump has yet to comment on the situation, but knowing him, we’re sure there will be some Tweets later.
