Fitness expert has devised an exercise plan to improve people's sex lives
It’s inspired a sex toy range, a party game and a host of parody novels, but now phenomenally successful erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey is the influence behind a new ‘sexy’ workout.
Fitness expert Kristen James has devised a routine, called 50 Shapes of Grey, which has been inspired by EL James’s bestseller.
She says her moves will improve people’s sex lives and help them replicate some of the kinky bedroom scenes in the book, as well as helping them gain core strength and flexibility.
All 13 movements in the workout require minimal, easy to access equipment such as a mat and a chair.
In a video which promotes her exercise plan, she tells viewers: ‘just remember how important it is to be very sexy and strong with your partner’ as she takes them through positions such as ‘seductive squat’ and ‘bend over better’.
James said she was inspired to create the workout after noticing how many of her clients wanted to fell as sexy as Anastasia Steele, the Fifty Shades of Grey’s heroine.
A spokesperson for James, who works at upscale Manhatten gym Equinox, said: ‘There’s no doubt that traditional exercise will help to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle, but Kristen has always preached to her clients, ‘you’ve got to train for your life’. Sex should be right on the top of your list!’
