But, rewind 6 months, and Lucy Liu was first to give the frock it's high-profile debut.
The actress donned the very same dress to the Actor's Fund Annual Gala in New York back in April - with the only difference being that her version had a slightly longer skirt.
A swishing ponytail, classic black courts, purple statement earrings and a box clutch completed the red carpet look from the Charlie's Angel.
