Meanwhile, back on home turf and in typical Whistles fashion, the British brand is playing it totally cool with the release of a characteristically laid-back and quirky short film, entitled #bellesandwhistles, directed by the über-cool French photographer and blogger Garance Doré

The contagiously cheery film features Whistles' muses-of-the-moment, New York-based ex-pat Fashion Director of Shopbop Elle Strauss, London fashion consultant Yasmin Sewell, American artist and DJ Vashtie Kola, French actress Rebecca Dayan, American stylist Jeanann Williams, and French creative consultant Cecile Togni.

These movers, shakers and, erm, whistlers of the fashion industry exemplify the brand's influence from America and France, where Whistles is expanding first. They prance around elegantly in the new collection, making faces at the camera (the kind only these women can still look gorgeous pulling), and whistling, hence the pun-tastic title. Watch the fantastically flirty film below:

As part of the #bellesandwhistles campaign, Whistles invites you to have a go at whistling for your chance to win a luxury shopping spree. Upload your own video on Instagram using #bellesandwhistles.
