The fash pack have arrived at their final destination, Paris, and there are only two full days left of SS16’s spectacular still to see. So as the editors, buyers, designers and stylists pack away their Louboutins ‘til February, we’re looking back at some of our favourite show moments with our short film, The Joy Of Fashion.
From Burberry’s live orchestra to Henry Holland’s model army, designers upped the ante with more show-stopping theatrics than ever before. Anthony Vaccarello and Donatella Versace brought the Versus line to London for the first time, breaking into one of the city’s biggest after-parties as soon as the last look had hit the runway.
Backstage was, as ever, a riot of new season colour – we got up close and personal with new collections from Dolce and Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Eudon Choi, Sophia Webster, Jonathan Saunders and many, many more as the weeks flew by.
The model armies were out in force across all cities– Giles won our award for best line-up in London after we spotted no fewer than 39 major names strutting down his runway, while the super trio of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls dominated in New York and Paris.
