And Donatella isn't too happy about it

Remember when we told you you'd been singing the Friends theme tune wrong this whole time? Well we hate to break to you, but we're about to mess with your brains again.

Because it turns out you've been saying Versace wrong for years too (and in case you were wondering, here is how to pronounce all the other fashion brands correctly).

The schooling comes courtesy of Donatella Versace herself, who released a short video tutorial on Instagram as part of her AW18 campaign.

In the clip, she and models tease, 'It's Versace not Versachee'. Still confused? If you say it phonetically, it should be 'Versatch-eh' rather than the 'Versatch-ee' we've all been saying.

Schooling aside, the AW18 campaign stands out in its own right, as it's the longest ever ad image, and we mean that literally, as it features 54 models posing next to each other.

'This image made up of 54 models is a true representation of clans that embody everything Versace stands for – diversity expressed together with innovation in the fearless representation of what it means to be daring' one image read.

They added, 'The longest Versace line up is made up of a mega mix of personalities – from super models to young new talent in looks that are all about confidence'.

Love it.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
