Go behind the scenes at the Tommy Hilfiger AW15 show
Big news, sports fans! Inspired by last month’s epic supermodel Super Bowl (we’re looking at you, Gisele and Tom Brady), Tommy Hilfiger staged an ode to American Football at his AW15 fashion show in New York last night.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of his brand, which is rooted in American sportswear, it seemed only fitting that New York’s ultimate showman should deliver his own no-expense-spared stadium set, complete with AstroTurf, cheering crowds and a big screen to catch all the major style replays.
Pundits from actual US football sat alongside NYFW regulars like Rita Ora and Olivia Palermo on the front row, while key players Jourdan Dunn, Gigi Hadid and Binx Walton led Tommy’s all-star line up on the pitch.
Models wore letterman jackets in both literal incarnations and supple leather minidresses, accessorised, of course, with helmets and football boots with wedge heels.
