Some Taylor Swift fans cut their hair into the infamous 'swift' bob, whilst others quote her song lyrics as break up advice - few go as far as Lotte Lutjes though - who recreates Taylor's wardrobe to give her confidence.

Lotte suffers from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease - a condition that makes it hard for the 18 year old to walk and stand up for long periods of time, ‘I’ve felt really left out and useless at times’ the teen explains.

What makes her feel better? Recreating her unstoppable idol's enviable wardrobe, sewing complex ensembles (yes even that Grammys dress) by hand.

It all started in 2014 when Lotte and her friends decided to attend the London leg of Taylor's Red tour dressed in costumes from the album. Lotte couldn't find the ringleader costume from the We Are Never Getting Back Together video in the shops (understandably), so being an avid 'Swifty' - as the fandom refer to themselves - she went about sewing the ensemble by hand with the help of her grandmother.

The result: spot on.

‘The costumes definitely make me feel more confident’ Lotte has explained, ‘I just love making them and they make me feel fierce. Taylor is just so down to earth and she's her own person and doesn't let anyone tear her down, She taught me how to deal with feeling left out and alone and so much more.’

Two years on the Dutch teen has now recreated 13 of Taylor's signature looks, everything from the Shake It Off cheerleading outfit to the 1989 tour silver sequin leotard - documenting her progress and finished looks on Tumblr and Instagram.

Then came the biggest reward of all - the ultimate stamp of approval from the real Taylor Swift who mistook herself for Lotte in one of her recreation photos, commenting on the post, 'lol I thought this was me!'

Nice one Lotte. We hope to see a Taylor Swift recreation label very soon so we can all look as fierce.
