See the incredible 4D video from Ralph Lauren's Polo SS15 fashion show
Ralph Lauren presented the first ever 4D fashion show to an audience including Kendall Jenner and Ciara in New York last night.
His Polo presentation took the form of a water-screen projection in the lakes of Central Park (utilising a grassy high spot called Cherry Hill for the audience to watch from) and as models turned to mirages, his H2O holograms stood 60 ft tall amongst the Manhattan skyline.
'I really wanted to do something big for the new Polo Women’s brand — something set in the city — that felt modern,' said Ralph before the show. ‘We returned to Central Park, a place I love, and captured the spirit of Polo with a truly innovative mix of fashion and technology.’
The collection was bright and graphic (kind of necessary when you think of its blurred presentation canvas) as easy daywear combos walked along city street graphics and Polo shirt and maxi skirt pairings looked like sporty evening dresses at a virtual disco. Cue a dancing cameo from Ralph himself.
