Madewell has finally made its UK debut, and we’ve got the low-down on everything you need to know about this recent import from overseas.

Born out of the same creative headspace as J Crew, Madewell – like its extremely successful sister brand – is the ultimate off-duty label, with a cool fashion edge.

Launched exclusively at Net-A-Porter, the tightly edited capsule collection of new-season must-haves is now available to shop.

Fans of the brand include style supremo Alexa Chung (who previously fronted, and favoured, its extensive denim offering) as well as Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway.

So what do we need to know? Prices start from just £65 (for a leather-trim fedora), reaching £250 (for a tan leather bucket bag), with more styles set to drop in the coming few weeks.

Denim makes up the most part of this new collection (think dungarees in light blue washes, button-up oversized shirts and loose-fit boyfriend jeans), alongside some more trend-led pieces (belted kimono-style jackets, jumpsuits and printed ankle-grazing trousers), all styled oh-so-coolly in the glossy lookbook shots, echoing that same signature style of J Crew, albeit in a slightly more wearable way.

It’s safe to say, Madewell could well be your new go-to destination for chic weekend wares that will totally transform your wardrobe, without breaking the bank.

Check out the complete collection in our gallery above, plus, get some styling inspo from the beautiful lookbook shots on exactly how to wear your new Madewell buys.
