Lady Gaga forced to change clothes on flight, after her outfit sparked symptoms of DVT

If you thought there was nothing that Lady Gaga wouldn't do for fashion, then wait until you read this: the superstar singer's dedication to style has now got dangerous!

On a flight from London to America this week, cabin crew became alarmed when Gaga's typically outlandish get-up caused her legs to begin to swell. The Lady was wearing the pictured chevron striped yellow and black tape dress and towering Alexander McQueen blue Armadillo heels.

With crew thinking her symptoms could be the early stages of deep vein thrombosis, they insisted the star changed quickly, or risk facing long-term damage.

An airline source revealed to The Sun: 'GaGa was a high-risk DVT case so she was advised to change out of her clothes. But the outfit was so cumbersome she needed help changing out of it. She was particularly miffed about ditching her heels. She was wearing them in memory of her friend Alexander.'

Just last week Gaga told Jonathan Ross: 'I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything.'

We'd wonder what the airline crew forced la Gaga to change into - free slippers, perhaps, and a bath robe? Now that's a look we'd love to see!
