A cool crowd descended on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge for the opening of Lacoste’s flagship store last night.

The fashionable guests, who were welcomed by creative director of the brand Felipe Oliveria Baptista, included model/ DJ Becky Tong, who showed how to work this season’s luxe sportswear trend in a jacket from Lacoste SS/12, Suki Waterhouse also oozed effortless chic in head-to-toe Lacoste SS/12, while Leigh Lezark wowed in a geometric print Lacoste shift dress as seen on Lacoste’s SS/12 runway.

Eliza Doolittle and will.i.am were spotted hanging out and sampling the quirky cocktails on offer, each one matched to Lacoste’s new limited edition fragrances.

Those who needed a sugar high were quick to head to the pick and mix area, while chefs created zesty crepes for the crowd to munch on before they headed to the photobooth to capture their best looks.

Elsewhere, Tolula Adeyemi, Josephine de la Baume and actor Jamie Campbell Bower were all seen rocking out to performances by SingTank and The Misshapes.

Spread over three floors, the stunning store is the largest Lacoste store in the world. Alongside the brand’s entire range and homeware selection there is also a Lacoste lab which features collaborative projects including bikes and surfboards.

It was definitely the hottest party for the coolest brand.
