Mulberry’s surprise front row star hails the ‘lovely’ British seaside-inspired collection
We’ve never really thought of Kate Moss as a Mulberry kinda girl before, but she was the surprise star guest at the label’s London Fashion Week spring/summer 2012 show yesterday, and she loved it!
The supe – who was wearing a double denim look by the brand and black knee-high boots and a matching fedora – joined Twilight star Kristen Stewart for a natter on the front row before watching the presentation of the latest Mulberry collection in the ballroom at Claridge’s Hotel.
Mulberry turned to the British seaside and all its fairground-esque fun for inspiration – think Blackpool illuminations, Carry On films and ice cream – with a collection jam-packed with floaty sundresses, candy striped maxis, lightweight parkas and glossy waterproof macs, and Kate is clearly a fan.

She told The Daily Telegraph once the show wrapped: ‘It was lovely.’ Before rushing backstage to congratulate Mulberry’s Creative Director, Emma Hill.
The range also got the thumbs up from Kristen Stewart – who made her London Fashion Week debut in a belted printed Mulberry dress at the show – who said: ‘Oh man, it was great.’
