From Serena to Home, this weekend saw some big movie premieres and so, naturally, our attention also turns to the big red carpet style moments. Rihanna went all prim and proper on a girls’ night out with J-Lo, while J-Law gave us the best party dress inspo to practise next weekend. These are the looks you need to know about…

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the new face of Dior chose a Dior dress for her first major film premiere as the lead voice in new Dreamworks animation, Home. What was surprising, however, was that Rih Rih went positively Hepburn on us in this ladylike satin dress with just a hint of delicate embroidery.

    Jennifer Lopez
J-Lo channels Frozen’s Elsa as she takes children Max and Emme to the premiere of the next kiddy blockbuster, Home. Diamante smattered accessories and perfect blonde barrel curls complete her princess look. All hail.

    Jennifer Lawrence
Now this is what we call a Saturday night party frock. J-Law looks ready to hit the dance floor in this sparkly little Dior number (see actual pictures of her doing the robot in the gallery above..!) The cut-out sides and midriff clasp detail make us actually think she could have just shimmied in off of some sort of Strictly show, and onto the red carpet.

    Kerry Washington

Kerry’s working the AW15 collections already in this slashed-to-ribbons number by Hellessy. The Scandal starlet styled-up the dress’ jewel tones with one of Anya Hindmarch’s iconic crisp packet clutch bags – we’re also keen on her new-found big hair don’t care curls.

    Zoe Saldana
Zoe’s idea of lady in red involves a sharp and modern twist – think cool structure-versus-pleats skirt layers and on-point scarlet courts.

    Lily James
Our new Cinderella is clearly loving those princess-y silhouettes if she’s working them into her own wardrobe. Lily makes it cool, however, by mixing solid and sheer fabrics for her first big TV interview on The Jonathan Ross Show.
