The Iron Man 2 leading ladies looked perfectly coordinated in near-identical grey shift dresses

We can't quite work out whether Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson were either going for perfect coordination at the Iron Man 2 photocall, or just that their stylists failed to confer beforehand, as the pair had a style snap moment in near-identical grey shift dresses.

The leading ladies both opted for figure-hugging pencil dresses, in soft shades of grey, which stopped at the knee and featured sculpting panels.

Ms Johansson's bold-shoulder design came courtesy of Roland Mouret's RM label, while Gwynnie looked to A-list fashionista Victoria Beckham, choosing a dress from Posh's spring/summer 2010 collection, for her moment in the spotlight.

And the similarities didn't end sartorially. Both completed their looks with loose middle-parted locks, radiant glowing make-up and a nude lip.

Tellingly, the actresses did not pose side by side throughout the publicity drive!

While the dresses might not be the same, we still want to know who you think worked their grey day styling best: do you love Scarlett's ladylike look, or is Gwynnie's bodycon number your style winner? Let us know your verdict in the comments box below.
