Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski is our IT girl of the moment, thanks to her simple but stunning off-duty style and her new-found love of a red carpet trophy dress. Bursting onto our radar in 2013 after appearing in that video for Blurred Lines, Emily is (sort of) stepping away from her hyper-sexy image and, as an actress on the rise, is making waves with her premiere style, in dresses by Balmain, Marc Jacobs and more.

Even when she's not all glammed up, Emily still looks pretty damn fab, working classic model off-duty outfits from great denim to statement knits. But with her signature kooky glasses and sporty accessories (we're looking at those Stella McCartney flatform brogues) she's putting her own spin on things.

Signed with Ford Models, the same agency as Christy Turlington and Elle Macpherson, her beauty game is just as strong. While smoky cat eyes and nude lips are her makeup signatures, she's more experimental with her hair, trialling a whole range of different up-dos and soft wave styles on the red carpet.

At this year's MET Gala, she caught the fashion world's attention by wearing a stunning on-theme dress. The best bit, however, was that it wasn't couture. It was an off-the-rack wonder by none other than our own wardrobe hero, Topshop.
